Tell Your Story

If you’d like to share your story to help others – we’d love to hear from you.

We are usually asked about

Is there an age requirement for filming?

You must be 18 years or over in order to take part.

How does the process work?

If your story is selected, we will email you with further details and to arrange a date to record. When a slot has been booked, we will video call you and ask you a series of questions. Your video responses will then be filmed, edited and added to our Champions Cinema library.

What will I need in order to take part?

A desktop or laptop computer, smartphone or tablet with a built-in video camera, plus a reliable broadband Wi-Fi connection. An up-to-date version of either FaceTime or Skype is also required.

How long does it take to record?

The whole interviewing and filming process usually takes no longer than 15 minutes to complete.

How will my film be used?

Your finished videos will be published online in our Champions Cinema Library.

What if I decide that I don't want my film used anymore?

Simply let us know by sending an email to and we’ll remove them from our databases, and send you a confirmation that this has been done.

What happens once I complete and submit my form?

You will receive and acknowledgement of your submission. Our production team will then read through your submission and get back to you if we are able to proceed with your suggested story.

Are there any stories that you won't consider?

Yes. There are many reasons why we can’t produce a film for every story suggestion. These can include sensitive or inappropriate content or stories with legal implications.

Why can't I just film myself and upload my own video?

We have developed a very unique style for our Champions Cinema which ensures quality, adheres to our editorial policy and guidelines and negates the need for moderation.

Why do you use an interview style?

By interviewing each Champions Cinema participant we can tease out the elements of a person’s story that we believe will be of real value to a viewer who is seeking support and encouragement. It is amazing how many people, when self filming, leave out the most important points of their story!

Can my films be downloaded and used on other websites?

No. All films contained within our Champions Cinema are protected and can’t be downloaded. The page on which they are displayed can of course be shared but not the individual films.
